Privacy Policy

Effective: August 2026 · Applies to the DeckPad app and DeckPad Studio.

DeckPad collects no personal data. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads from third-party networks. Everything you configure stays on your device.

What DeckPad does not do

No data collection of any kind — no usage stats, no crash uploads, no identifiers
No accounts or sign-in
No cloud sync, no backend servers, no webhooks
No third-party SDKs that phone home

What stays on your device

Your custom layouts, theme choices, settings, and purchase records are stored only in the app's local storage on your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Local network communication

The phone app sends keystrokes to DeckPad Studio on your computer over your local Wi-Fi network (UDP, no internet involved). Keystrokes are never logged, stored, or relayed anywhere else — they pass directly to your operating system as key events. Layer edits travel the same path in reverse, over a PIN-paired local connection.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play under their own privacy policies. DeckPad never sees your payment details; the stores only tell the app which products you own.
